Huaravito Reserve / Sacred Natural Site

Our reserve is a private protected area for the sustainable use of natural resources and the preservation of our sacred natural site located in Costa Rica. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to its special characteristics in terms of biodiversity, scenic beauty, cultural heritage and fragile populations of wildlife that are essential for the maintenance of diversity: • Visitors may not introduce or consume alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs. Nor will the entry of tobacco and its derivatives that emit smoke, gases or vapors, in any of its forms or in devices, including the electronic cigarette and water pipe, bong or narguile. • Respect any occurring ceremonies or other practitioner activity, observe from a peripheral distance without disrupting or distracting the practitioners and their cultural activities. • Refrain from performing rituals that may be culturally unacceptable or offensive, ask about observing or participating in rituals that are being performed. • Refrain from walking on fragile, ancient “ruins” or from entering ceremonial sites. Stay on marked trails or walkways even in our shrine. • Do not move or remove anything at a sacred site. • You are not allowed to remove stones, plants or other natural resource of wilderness. • Please do not feed animals. • Pets are not allowed.
