The Howard University Cybersecurity Analytic Center (CAC) was originally established in 2010 as the Cybersecurity Education and Research Center (CERC). Effective June 2024, the center was transformed into a new multi-disciplinary center led by professors from the Information Systems department in the School of Business to include the related technologies of data analytics and artificial intelligence. The objective of the CAC is to provide an avenue for student education, research and industry engagement in the converging fields of cybersecurity, data analytics, AI/machine learning and strategic IT infrastrucures.
