About HuFoSS

HuFoSS encourages innovative ecological, technical and socio-cultural activities and research for: - strengthening our natural environment, - the development of sustainable and, where feasible energy-neutral, concepts in the event of utilisation of our natural or built environment, - ideas that have a socially reinforcing character. HuFoSS is one of the leading partners in two four-year European research projects in support of the European Green Deal programme: MarineSABRES and MarBEFES. The projects strive towards a healthy balance between marine ecosystems, marine economy and social well-being. HuFoSS forms the link between the participating researchers and local users of the sea, allowing stakeholders to come to the fore and ultimately benefit from the project results.
