Hugo Neu was Sims’ largest shareholder until mid-2007, when most of its shares in Sims were sold to Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Hugo Neu and Sims Group are now distinct and unrelated companies. Since 2009, Hugo Neu has been managing an electronic recycling business in Mt. Vernon, NY, providing institutions with a turnkey fully certified solution to their end-of-life electronics needs through its proprietary sorting and downstream recycling processing technology and a commitment to responsible recycling as exemplified by its e-Stewards certification, the highest standard in the industry.
