Hülpr is a social enterprise that provides an innovative support system for caregivers of vulnerable populations. Hülpr improves the process, for members of vulnerable populations and their caregivers, to easily access personal support services in their communities. Hülpr will solve several societal problems in Canada that are affecting people in vulnerable populations and their caregivers, all of which have accelerated due to COVID-19.
Hülpr understands that all individuals and support networks are unique. Through Hülpr, caregivers can easily determine the level of services that they require, access a network of local trusted service providers, and create lasting relationships that benefit their loved ones and their community.
Hülpr’s broad purpose is to assist people in vulnerable populations and their caregivers in accessing high-quality, local services that meet their individual needs. Through its interactive website, Hülpr facilitates access to a vast network of service providers who are pre-vetted and regularly evaluated.
Hülpr aids caregivers in finding service providers who can offer assistance that is proportionate to individual needs and respectful of diverse situations.
Hülpr appeals to individuals and caregivers who need or want help in the areas of non-medical home supports, respite care, and life- and employment-skill building. While respecting the current limitations imposed by COVID-19, Hülpr strives to revive and improve the programs and services that sought to help Canada’s vulnerable populations.
Hülpr focuses on two main client segments as well as their caregivers, all with distinct and intersecting needs: older adults and people with developmental disabilities.
