It was founded by a group of Hult International Business School MBAs and is funded by Bertil Hult.
The Hult Prize has been referred to as the "Nobel Prize for students" by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus.
The winners of the Hult Prize Global Finals receive $1,000,000 in start-up capital.
