Human Input Output

There are significant problems in the world, in our country, and in our homes, but few that are not from, or of, our own minds. If we trace any manmade failure to its root, we often find a deficit in attention, in empathy, or in corrected strategy. There is no one solution. However, the closer we can get to the root of the problems, the more potent our solutions can become. The brain is a magnificent difference engine, recorder, and arbiter of all things human. As a species we have only just begun to discover the secrets, faults, and wonders of the brain. I passionately believe that in understanding ourselves, we can be better, all of us. Our emerging, quantified view into the brain, and its effects on our behavior and health, is kicking open the door to a better life for the organ that dictates, well, almost everything in life. We are entering a brain-enlightened age.
