Humanitarian Global is an organization that has been at the forefront in offering excellent training to humanitarian professionals across the globe. This company was established in 2015, and in the last four years, we have managed to train over 1500 professionals in various sectors of the humanitarian world. Humanitarian operations have continuously evolved from an ad hoc assistance to become a science that requires specialized and skilled personnel. Additionally, the humanitarian operations have experienced complex multiple actors, new and evolving roles, standards, terminologies, guidelines, and coordination platforms. This has led to increased challenges in accessing needy populations leaving such communities more vulnerable than ever. However, these developments have not been matched by sufficient practical training, which can equip humanitarian professionals with the skills they need to address these requirements adequately. To fill this gap, Humanitarian Global was born to provide a field-based training model that focuses on enhancing the skills of humanitarian professionals. We offer a unique form of training which consists of total immersion in the mission environment. At the same time, the participants are mentored by experienced facilitators on a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week basis. This is achieved by offering online courses through a productive and resourceful online learning platform that connects students from various countries. This is followed by a close monitoring of the participants’ progress through formal and written evaluation as well as unlimited one on one interactions with facilitators. Furthermore, we organize training workshops that help link up humanitarian professionals and create a platform where they can receive training from professionals.
