HUMANI TERRA, founded in 1998, is a surgical International Non Governmental Organisation. Its goal is to contribute to enhance and develop health care, more specifically surgical care, in developing countries. All types of surgeries are performed by highly qualified surgeons, all volunteers, and their teams, composed of anaesthetists, nurses, physiotherapists, logisticians, social workers... over 300 benevolent health officers are involved in these activities, helped by teams of hired humanitarian workers and specialists.
