Humanity & Inclusion

Founded in 1982, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent and impartial international humanitarian organization working in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and disaster. Together with people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, we act and bear witness to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. Together with local partners, we develop programs in health, rehabilitation and social and economic integration. We work with local authorities for humanitarian demining and to prevent accidents related to landmines and unexploded ordnance through risk education. We respond quickly and effectively to natural and civilian disasters to limit serious and permanent injuries, as well as to assist in the recovery and reintegration of survivors. We advocate for universal recognition of the rights of people with disabilities through advocacy.
