HumanKind was born from the belief that every person matters. I believe every human deserves food, water, proper and safe shelter, and clothing no matter their background, income, ability or color. This should not be a radical belief, however I am often challenged on it. Because of those challenges to this belief, I work harder to do what I can to help people in need of those things.
HumanKind provides Housing Stabilization services because of the large scope of assistance that may be provided to people who need it most. The approach of HumanKind is to walk along side clients to stabilize a client's current housing first and foremost. We then begin working with clients to find better fit housing in transition services or sustaining the housing long term in sustaining services. HumanKind is dedicated to a person-centered approach; All clients are encouraged to make decisions based on their own wants and needs without judgement.
