Our mission: HUMDA Lab aims to be an incubator and leading organization for the Hungarian national motorsport research and development activities. Our story: We established the Lab in 2021 as a nonprofit organization focusing on scientific researches, knowledge transfer, as well as HiTech and infrastructural developments in motorsports (and in a broader sense in mobility and automotive industry). In 2023 we became a subsidiary of Széchenyi István University Foundation, the managing authority of the University in the city of Győr, Hungary. Our headquarter is in Budapest with a branch office in Zalaegerszeg and Győr. We are a dedicated team of researchers, automotive system engineers, motorsport professionals, software developers and project managers with strong passion for racing. Our value proposition: - Strong team of researchers: we have a team of experts with deep knowledge and experience. Relying on our expertise in the field of automotive system engineering, race/performance engineering, A.I. development, software engineering, test development, project and product management, we are capable to drive End-to-End (concept to small serial implementation) R&D projects. - Motorsport background: motorsport and competitiveness is in our DNA. Our engineering work has been defined by racing projects since the university years. Whether it is about establishing the first formula student team in Hungary, up to WTCC, WTCR, ETCR and Formula 1 race engineering and development engineering tasks, our team has extensive experience. - Easy access to key infrastructures: as part of Széchenyi István University Foundation, we have a wide range of infrastructure at our disposal (laboratories provided by the University, ZalaZone automotive proving ground and other race track sites). - Academic and industrial partnerships: We have a wide range of close connections directly to academic partners and key players of the motorsport and automotive market.
