About Hunter Coal Environment Group (HCEG)
Hunter Coal Environment Group (HCEG) is a group of environmental professionals from across many different sectors including government, consulting and industry. HCEG was established in the mid 1990’s, with a focus on coal mining in the Hunter Valley. The purpose of HCEG is to share knowledge around current and future issues facing the mining industry both locally and beyond. HCEG usually meets quarterly with a focus on government updates, site case studies and keynote speakers. One of the key aspects of HCEG is the networking opportunity it provides for our members to collaborate on a range of issues. HCEG has in the order of 300 current members and are always open to new participants to attend and also new speakers. For further information please send us a message on this page and one of our committee members will endeavour to get back to you.
