Our strategy relies on fundamental analysis of small and micro cap companies, and we allocate almost no attention to macroeconomic issues or stock volatility. Additionally, we tend to concentrate our capital in ten to thirty positions at a time. Our success has been driven by 1) identifying the 1% of public companies whose business models will enable them to grow at above-market rates over multi-year periods, but whose illiquidity and small market cap cause them to be ignored by 99% of investors, 2) investing before a company's high returns and growth in size increase their liquidity and 3) holding onto them over multi-year periods as they receive greater interest among the investment community.
