A Magyar Public Relations Szövetség (MPRSZ) 1989-ben alakult meg. A szövetség küldetése a public relations, mint interdiszciplináris tudományterület, elmélet és szakmai gyakorlat hazai elterjesztése, és etikai normáinak széleskörű elfogadtatása, fejlesztése és ápolása. A szövetség a pr-szakemberek országos, egyéni és kollektív, szakmai és etikai érdekképviseletét és egyben érdekvédelmét ellátó nonprofit szervezet, amely politikai és vallási szempontból semleges.
A Magyar PR Szövetség célja:
- a public relations szakma reputációjának növelése,
- a szakmán kívüli és belüli elismertségének fejlesztése,
- a szakma érdekvédelmének erősítése,
- a szakmai szereplők etikus gyakorlatának,
- a szakmai gyakorlat és a hazai szakemberek felkészültségének fejlesztése, és
- a szövetség vonzerejének és tekintélyének növelése.
The Hungarian Public Relations Association was established in 1989 to represent the PR specialists nationwide, individual and collective, professional and ethical interests. The aims of the nonprofit organisation are:
- to increase the reputation of the public relations profession,
- to improve the acknowledgement of our activities inside and outside of the profession,
- to strengthen the protection of interests in the profession,
- to introduce the international ethical practice of the professionals nationally,
- to improve the expertise of Hungarian practitioners of public relations, and
- to make the association more prestigious.
