Our mission at Hurricane Help Florida is to provide Florida homeowners and communities with essential free resources, and guidance to navigate the challenges before and after a hurricane. From preparedness to step-by-step guides for rebuilding, tips on retrieving lost documents, verifying contractors, and accessing government services, we provide support to help people affected recover. We provide rebuilding materials, furniture and appliances with our donations. Stay informed, rebuild stronger, and remain resilient in the face of Florida’s unpredictable hurricane season with our resources and reliable information. No matter where those affected and homeowners are in the recovery process, we’re here to assist every step of the way.
Our rescue app, StormResQ, is a web-based and IOS and Android app. It’s designed to be used before, during, and after a hurricane to help specialized rescue nonprofits locate and assist people in need, especially when 911 services are unavailable. The app connects individuals with skilled nonprofit emergency responders who can bring them to safe shelter before and after a crisis.
