HuSif - Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Finance Association

HuSif (Hungarian Sustainable Investment and Finance Association) aims to support Hungary's investment and financial service providers in promoting the growth of sustainable investments domestically. This platform, launched in 2024 and officially becoming an association by 2025, seeks to bring together and support the country's leading investment fund managers, institutional investors—including insurance companies and pension funds—and investment firms committed to sustainability The core of HuSif’s operations is to foster close collaboration among the key players in the sustainable financial ecosystem. To this end, we provide a platform for our members that supports them in ensuring their products and services genuinely contribute to sustainability, and in meeting not just the "letter," but also the "spirit" of national and international sustainable finance regulations. Our Mission - Facilitate the financial services sector's faster and more effective transition to a sustainable and responsible financial system that supports the financing of a sustainable economy. - Support the financing of investments necessary for Hungary's sustainability transition, in alignment with net-zero emission goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). - Promote the development of a responsible retail investment culture, integrating sustainability as a consideration alongside financial goals in investment decisions. During the initial period of 2024/2025, HuSif's activities will be organized by Aquincum Sustainable Finance Nonprofit Ltd.
