Hutto Wood Products is located in Aiken, South Carolina where we have been in business since 2000. The first five years we owned and operated a shaving plant where we manufactured dried shavings, bagged shavings, and bulk loads. Not only have we had experience with the shaving industry, our family history dates back four generations in the sawmill and wood industry. We have extensive knowledge in how shaving mills should be set up and operated. HWP has installed shaving mills in 36 states. In addition to these, we have equipment running in all 50 states, and 8 foreign countries. We build and offer several different types of shaving mills, from our movable box (MVB) models to our stationary box models. These machines can be adapted for any environment or species of wood. We take pride in the simplicity of the mechanics on our mills and the ease of maintenance from our hinged guards to our easily accessible heads. But HWP is not only about shaving mills. Any piece of equipment that is needed to operate the shaving mill, be it log merchandisers, conveyor belts, etc., we can handle it. “From tree to finished packaged product, we’ve got you covered.”
