Dr. Anasuya Bandyopadhyay is the Principal investigator of the Hybrid Material Research Lab.
Dr. A.Bandyopadhyay is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the Polymer and Process Engineering Department, specializing in organic synthesis. Her Research focuses on design & synthesis of different organic ligands for development of novel metallopolymers:, Different Characterization Techniques, Electrochemical Studies, Development of New Functional Materials: , Electrochromic, Electroluminescent, Memristive and Acid-Responsive Materials, Development of Novel Polymers for Energy Storage Application; Supercapacitor & Battery, Development of Tough, Transparent, Conductive Polymer Glasses for Different Applications:, Homo & Co-Polymer Synthesis, Polymer Engineering, Nano-composites. She did her Post Doc. from National Institute for Material Science, Tsukuba, Japan and Ph.D.(Chemistry) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science. The entire group works on development of new material and their applications in various domains such as energy storage devices, electrocatalysis, hydrogen evolution, optoelectronic, memristive devices etc.
