Dr. Pradip K. Maji is the Principal Investigator of the Advanced Materials Research Lab. Dr. Pradip K. Maji is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the Polymer and Process Engineering Department, specializing in sustainable materials development. His research focuses on cellulose-based nanomaterials, bio-polymers, packaging solutions, and sustainable polymer technology. Before joining IIT Roorkee, Dr. Maji made significant contributions to the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), enhancing self-reliance in the Indian Air Force through innovative polymer and rubber products for aircraft and aero-engine applications. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur and has conducted research at Toyota Technological Institute and Kyoto University in Japan. Dr. Maji has authored over 130 peer-reviewed papers, multiple book chapters, and holds six patents. His scholarly achievements include receiving the "Outstanding Teacher Award-2023" from IIT Roorkee and the "Young Scientist Award" from the Asian Polymer Association in 2023. Dr. Maji's commitment to sustainable materials and contributions to polymer science have earned him recognition as one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide for 2023. He continues to inspire innovation, bridging research with real-world applications.
