Introduction
Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) was conceptualized 56 years ago, in the year 1964, by a dozen dedicated
young managers of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, who felt the need for developing managerial skills
among young executives and spreading the message of professionalism among the practicing managers with the
involvement of academia & industry.
Activities of HMA
HMA provides a platform for professionals, academia &management students to stay abreast of contemporary management
practices and events shaping the profession and its emerging challenges. The plethora of activities undertaken in this
context, viz. Evening Lecture Meetings, Training Programs, Panel Discussions, Seminars, Conventions, Quiz Programs,
Management /Faculty & Student Development Programs etcand this year we will be adding certificate programs in
partnership with Business Schools.
All India Management Association
The Hyderabad Management Association is affiliated to the All India Management Association (AIMA) New Delhi. AIMA
associates with HMA for conduct of regular Joint Programs at Hyderabad.

HMA is managed by a Managing Committee consisting of 10 elected representatives of its members, 6 Co-opted members
from Industry, Academia & Society, Advisors from Government, Defence, Industry & Corporates.
