"Established in 2007, Hydra Polymers was a spin out from Unilever and was based in the University of Liverpool’s MerseyBio incubator. We focused on designing and synthesising branched polymeric materials that have unique 3 dimensional structures. Product formulators in various industries ranging from membranes, coatings, adhesives, personal and industrial care, oilfield and water treatment took advantage of the superior functional benefits that the 3 dimensional architecture affords." The company closed down in 2015.
