The HydraShock tool system represents an option to free stuck tubing where none previously existed. Initially the HydraShock was developed for the coiled tubing product line, since coiled tubing cannot be rotated in the wellbore. This rotation helps jointed pipe and drill strings maintain mechanical agitation of the solids either being introduced, or being removed. With that being said, there are many options for deploying the HydraShock. With the first HydraShocks designed as run-in-place tools, we soon found the need to create rescue options for customers who became stuck before finding out about our technology. This led to a sub-product line of HydraShock tools that could be pumped down from surface through coiled tubing, jointed pipe, drill pipe, or casing strings, all without the need to cut or sacrifice the integrity of the pipe. As the word spreads through the industry, HydraShock has been able to develop our technical hotline personnel into a group of "stuck pipe" specialists, sometimes freeing the tubing without ever utilizing the HydraShock. This is a testament to quality customer service having a higher value than pure revenue generation.
