Hydro Projects is based in Norwich UK. It is an independent consultancy, formed in 1985 to provide positioning and geophysical quality control and supervisory services to the offshore hydrocarbon exploration, development and production industries. The initial business was founded on providing knowledgeable and reliable consulting geophysicists and hydrographic surveyors to support clients in operating marine seismic, survey, engineering and construction projects. The initial core business continues to this day but in the 25 years since its inception the company has grown considerably. Most notably it has achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2001 registration and then more recently BS EN ISO 9001:2008, expanded its geographical coverage and embraced a broader range of technical specialisation. Software development and support, vessel safety management, project HSE management, personnel services, quality assurance system implementations and QC and environmental investigations have been successfully added to our core activities forming an attractive suite of complimentary support services. In addition to this, Hydro Projects has added recruitment to its capabilities, with the introduction of a recruitment specialist in September 2008. This extra discipline deals with the permanent placement of staff into the Oil & Gas industry through a search and selection process.
