Hygro+ (Hygroplus) was established in mid-2018, aiming at Sustainability and Circular Economy. We are now expanding our team to focus on converting various waste streams into high-value products to achieve our aims. Hygro+’s mission is to restore the Earth’s Carbon cycle, fight Climate Change, and facilitate fossil fuel alternative generation. Our core value is that earnings come at a price but cannot increase the debt we owe to our planet. Hygro+’s corporate strategy is to turn waste into price-competitive biofuels, enzymes, value-added secondary metabolites & fertiliser and, in combination with carbon credits, create a circular economic business model. The company headquarters is in Wageningen, the backyard of the Dutch Food Valley, the heart of the Dutch Biotechnology sector. The company’s founders are Wageningen University and Research Centre alumni with solid scientific and technical backgrounds, commercial expertise, and business networks + adding to its vast and robust connectivity to industry and academia.
