Hypha AG develops projects that foster resilience. We are interested in democratizing finance by shifting control from the few to the many. We believe that healthcare can be greatly improved by focusing on lifestyle over drugs and patient over bureaucracy. We think that agriculture can make us healthier while healing the soil, reviving a rich a diverse ecology wherever we live. Here are our current projects. Clínica Pêro is a medical clinic in downtown Lisbon, Portugal. The clinic will pay close attention to the environments in which humans evolved. By identifying harmful modern disruptions to our lifestyles, such as diet changes, stress, sedentariness, sleep disruption, over-medication, and social isolation we will try to make our patients more resilient and reduce their risk of the modern diseases of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer's. Monte da Pêra Brava is a 64 hectare farm in the southern Portugal region of Alentejo. Since the dawn of the agricultural age, humans have been denuding the rich ecosystem of the Earth's top soil by tilling it. Our goal for the farm is to mimic nature and let life flourish in all its forms, instead of killing everything that is not the cash crop. We will do this by turning the land into silvopasture, a mix of trees, grassland and grazing animals. We will employ regenerative ideas such as Adaptive Multi-Paddock grazing, diverse cover crops and we will minimize soil disturbance and artificial inputs. Lamassu has been manufacturing Bitcoin ATMs since 2013. So long as central banks continue to concentrate power in the hands of a few billionaires and politicians, so long as endless money printing perpetuates a debt based system that requires exponentially more resources, it will be difficult to settle back into an easy equilibrium. Bitcoin seeks recapture the power of money from reckless politicians and allows everyone to build up savings instead of digging the world ever deeper into debt.
