Environmentally Friendly, Biodegradable and unlike the paper devices this does actually dissolve in water so is safe to flush.
HyStool® is the simple and hygienic way to take a stool sample for bowel cancer screening programme. HyStool® can be used in any screening process that requires the collection of a stool sample and can be used for tests for bowel cancer, parasite testing, crohns, typhoid etc as part of a testing kit, at home, by hospitals, or health clinics.
HyStool® is made from an environmentally friendly material and dissolves 100% in cold water. HyStool® is as hygienic as possible. Simply attach to a toilet seat. There is no need to reach inside a potentially contaminated toilet bowl to fit it. HyStool® is strong enough to hold over 2kg in weight without bursting.
Once the stool sample has been taken then HyStool® can simply and safely be flushed away.
A HyStool® bag weighs a mere 8g and a 2 bag kit comes in at 22g. The kits are extremely flexible and are small enough and light enough to be fitted inside a bowel screening test kit without increasing the size of the package or increasing the postal weight.
HyStool® can also be flat packed into a dispenser that would be ideal for use in hospitals and health clinics.
