A retired police officer who was latterly involved in implementing a new computer system that was introduced nationally in Police Scotland.Always innovative, I designed a new part of that system that was introduced to manage any major incidents. I was commended after creating a database that helped identify vehicles involved in incidents from partial registration numbers and or descriptions.Having retired from the police in 2009 I continued to develop my knowledge of web design and SEO, completing an HND at Edinburgh University and founding Forthweb web design.I Continue to be innovative and created the U Value Calculator which is aimed at small building firms who require u-values for windows and doors in order for them to comply with planning requirements.My latest invention is "HyStool®". This is a device which makes the collection of poo samples for medical procedures such as Bowel Cancer Screening, Crohn's disease and Colitis as simple and hygienic as possible. The device dissolves 100% in cold water so can be flushed away after use.
