HélOui brings color to the lives of people with diabetes
Diabetes has a great impact on someone’s life. Fortunately, the era of daily testing with lancets, blood drops and test strips is over.
Patients today can, with a quick scan, check their glucose value by means of the FreeStyle Libre Sensor, which the patient wears continuously on his upper arm. Because of its bright white color, the sensor is very recognizable, and unfortunately neither pretty nor sexy.
This is why HélOui has conceived an assortment of 720 decorative stickers to personalize the FreeStyle Libre and fit everyone’s look and mood. The stickers cover the FreeStyle Libre sensors and reader perfectly and easily match every outfit, cool to elegant.
Héloïse's own experience
The stickers were developed by a young Belgian architect, Héloïse d’Otreppe, and her partner. Héloïse herself is a type 1 diabetic, who was annoyed by the boring sensors that constantly reminded her of her disease and revealed it to everyone around her. Hence the wide range of attractive and colorful stickers that bring a little fantasy and gaiety to a rather glum situation.
For young and old
The stickers are sold in sets of six, in all colors and various patterns: animals, flowers, fruits, glitter. Children and men are not forgotten, specific collections have been developed for them. There’s a perfect set of stickers for everyone, for every age, for every occasion. Judge for yourself.
The same sticker can be worn as long as the sensor, for 15 days running.
