What does it mean to be STEM ABLE? In the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), I help students: Activate their positive thinking when learning STEM subjects Believe in their STEM abilities Learn of their cultures contributions to STEM Explain how STEM is used to solve social and scientific problems Learning sessions encourage a growth mindset towards learning, develop mathematical perseverance and confidence, and support positive self awareness regarding the world's need for the student's current and future contributions in STEM classrooms and professions.
