i-Fish The Israeli Forum for Information Specialists

הפורום הישראלי למידענים הוקם בשנת 2001 ומנוהל במשותף על ידי ענבר יסעור ושרית חיים. בפורום חברים מעל 1200 מידענים פעילים - שכירים ועצמאיים מכל ענפי התעשייה ומכלל גופי האקדמיה בישראל. הפורום מאפשר שיתוף ידע וקבלת סיוע מקצועי בתחומי חיפוש המידע באמצעות אתר שיתופי ומערכת הפצת הודעות בין כלל חברי הפורום. החברות בפורום אינה כרוכה בתשלום. חברי הפורום נפגשים מדי שלושה חודשים לסדנה הכוללת סקירות שונות העוסקות בחידושים בתחום חיפוש המידע והרצאה מקצועית המועברת על ידי אחד מחברי הפורום. הצלחתו של הפורום לאורך שנים טמונה בעובדה שלכל אחד מחבריו ניתנת מלבד ההזדמנות ללמוד, גם האפשרות לתרום ולשתף את שאר חברי הפורום בתחומי התמחותו האישית. The Israeli Forum for Information Specialist (I-FISH) was founded in 2001 by Sarit Haim and Inbar Yasur. The Forum includes over 1200 active information specialists throughout Israel, from a wide variety of organizations and businesses as well as independent and academic institutes in Israel. The forum assists members in sharing of knowledge and professional advice in the field of information by way of active participation and general postings between forum members. Membership in I-FISH is free of charge and members meet quarterly for professional development, including updates in the field as well as lectures provided by forum members. The longstanding success of the forum is based on the interactive formula of sharing knowledge as well as gaining knowledge.
