Machines sold by I&W Ltd still process the majority of London's low-grade medical waste in an environmentally friendly, low energy, zero dioxin-release process that involves breaking up batches of waste while it is in a high-pressure steam de-contamination vessel. Vented steam is recycled to increase efficiency.
