The i2b2 tranSMART Foundation enables effective sharing, integration, standardization, and analysis of heterogeneous data from collaborative translational research by mobilizing the i2b2 and tranSMART open-source and open-data community.
Goals
1. Establish and sustain i2b2 and tranSMART as the preferred data sharing and analytics software platforms for translational biomedical research.
2. Link academic, non-profit and corporate research communities for collaborative research facilitated by i2b2 and tranSMART.
3. Align and grow a vibrant developer network around the scientific goals of the i2b2 and tranSMART communities.
4. Reduce barriers to entry through use of advanced technologies and an active marketplace.
