I2D2

Iowa’s Integrated Data System for Decision-Making (I2D2): Solves complex problems for Iowa’s children and families using collaborative data insights. I2D2 is a diverse system of stakeholders who share a common goal of transforming data into actionable intelligence to support Iowa children and families. As our service systems are increasingly charged with the heroic task to do more, to do it quicker, and to do it with less — they need now more than ever comprehensive information to inform strategic decision-making. I2D2 brings together administrative data from across health, education, and social service programs; generates anonymized files for analysis to explore patterns and identify strengths and needs; and uses analytic findings in cross-agency discussions about Iowa’s pressing problems. This is how cycles of inquiry through I2D2 advance strategic solutions, and support collaborative investments to improve lives of Iowa families.
