The International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) Greater New York Chapter was founded in 2024. Our chapter seeks to drive meaningful progress on sustainability best practices for the design, construction, and operation of laboratories and research operations across Greater New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and beyond, while creating a safe, peer-focused environment that fosters and facilitates collaboration and the exchange of ideas to support our collective professional development.
Our members include lab managers, facility managers, executive directors, consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers committed to high-performance labs. We are peer-led by a volunteer Board of Directors and committee members with decades of industry and operational experience.
