IAARC@Edinburgh is a student chapter of IAARC at Edinburgh. It is affiliated to “The International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction” (IAARC). IAARC is the premier global organisation dedicated to the advancement of Automation and Robotics in Construction. IAARC represents fields of construction including civil and building engineering, machine automation, robotics applications to construction, information technologies, planning, logistics, etc. IAARC is a non-profit-making organisation, and its membership is not just restricted to end-users, manufacturers, and researchers, but welcomes participation from other industrial sectors and from government organisations as well.
The objectives of IAARC@Edinburgh are:
• To encourage, facilitate, and promote scientific and technical development in Automation and Robotics in Construction, include in the fields of Digital Twin, IoT, XR Visualisation, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Scanning, and Robotics.
• To promote the domain of and scientific developments in Automation and Robotics in Construction to the industry and the public.
