IAESTE LC Aachen e.V.

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, short IAESTE, is an international, non-political, independent organization for the exchange of internships abroad. With more than 80 countries and as a part of the DAAD, IAESTE offers up to 1000 internship exchanges for Germany each year. The Local Committee in Aachen is one of more than 60 Local Committees in Germany. Consisting of active students, we are a group that has fun in meeting people and experiencing new cultures from all over the world. We are providing internships for students of the RWTH Aachen University and the Aachen University of Applied Sciences (Outgoing). Furthermore, we support foreign trainees who are doing an internship in Aachen (Incoming). We organize the housing of the incomers, assist them with administrative formalities, help them to settle in Aachen and organize a lot of free time activities, such as weekend trips to other cities, cultural program in Aachen and NRW, cooking together and having a Christmas party. Our work is voluntarily. Open hours: Thurdays 10 - 13 pm
