Since 1948 IAESTE has been providing young science and engineering students from around the world with paid, course related work experience. Similarly, IAESTE has been a source of high quality trainees for companies and institutions in more than 80 countries worldwide.
In IAESTE we are committed to fostering international understanding and impacting on the development of young people through international exchange. Our core values of friendship, trust, respect, professionalism, development and intercultural cooperation serve as a foundation for our strong organisational culture and as the principles that guide all our work and daily activities.
IAESTE was present in the old Polytechnic University School of the University of Lleida as an attempt to participate in the program IAESTE by the institution. This initiative ended without having found the participation of the students of the School.
IAESTE LC Lleida was born in 2007 without any connection with the previous attempt to open a committee in the University. It is done with the Student Council of the Higher Polytechnic School and is able to contact companies in the area to gradually start the IAESTE program for all students of the University of Lleida.
We hope that IAESTE LC Lleida will have a long journey and will continue to change the lives of the students of the UdL through unforgettable experiences.
