The International Accounting & Finance Doctoral Symposium (IAFDS) is focused on developing the research strengths and skills of doctoral students specialising in Accounting and Finance. This year (2025), IAFDS will be hosted by ICADE Universidad Pontificia Comillas, sponsored by the University of Strathclyde, University of Leeds, SKEMA Business School, Politecnico di Milano, SOAS University of London and University of Vaasa, and in partnership with Bond University, Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, Università di Bologna and University of Liverpool.
Now in its 18th year, the Symposium builds on the tremendous success of previous meetings held in Naples (2024), Paris (2023), Athens (2022), Milan (2019), Bangor (2018), Warsaw (2017), Glasgow (2012 & 2016), Ljubljana (2015), Trondheim (2014), Bologna (2013), Salamanca (2011), and Prato (2008-2010).
At the symposium, we have both academic and student discussants, which is a distinctive and valuable feature of this symposium.
