International Association of Geotechnical, Structural and Environmental Monitoring (IAGEM)

- Our Vision - IAGEM promotes the improvement and exchange of knowledge on geotechnical, structural and environmental monitoring through digital communications, projects and initiatives in web 2.0, working groups, congresses, training and industry marketing. The diffusion, first in a national and then in an international environment, wants to follow the logic of a development program for the attainment of the common interests. The objectives of applied research, scientific exchange, technology transfer and research management provide an umbrella for all IAGEM members. - Our Mission - The scope of IAGEM involves research, engineering applications and their mutual interactions, coping with the needs of individual and corporate members. IAGEM provides an excellent platform for co-operation with other monitoring-related associations or professional groups, where common interests call for combined efforts in geotechnical, urban infrastructure, development of enviromental resources, civil engineering, etc. Professionals from different disciplines will find a place in IAGEM, and the interactions with neighbouring disciplines covered by other associations will be stimulated and find proper attention.
