The Iranian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (IAGH) was established in 1993 and currently has more than 2000 members, including gastroenterologists, internists and GI fellows. The educational programs and face-to-face interaction and information exchange allows physicians to share knowledge and techniques that can be applied to their future patients. Members are kept informed and up-to-date with the most modern methods used in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients, thereby improving the level of medical care available.
