Ian Gittens the Director of Ian Gittens Consultancy has over 27 years’ experience in the United Kingdom and Australia working in highways, transportation, traffic engineering, drainage, road safety, project management and controlled parking zones. He has managed large multi-disciplinary teams and can offer considerable experience giving health and safety advice having previously worked as a HM Specialist Inspector in Civil Engineering with the Health and Safety Executive.
Ian is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT). Ian is also a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
Ian is a registered Road Safety Auditor with the Society for Road Safety Auditors (MSoRSA) and has a Certificate of Competency in Road Safety Auditing. He is also registered to undertake Road Safety Audits in the Middle East and Australia.
