Our support arm comes in the form of the #IBDSuperHeroes Facebook group. Whether you want to ask questions, have a rant about things other people just don't understand, or simply want a chat, the #IBDSuperHeroes team and group members are here for you! 👫👭
We try to run at least a couple of events each year, where people with IBD can meet in person. Plus, we have regular online events for members such as weekly weekend catch-ups, and a film club📽!
ALL money raised by #IBDSuperHeroes is invested into patient-centric research, to improve the lives of those with IBD and ultimately, to find a cure. 🧫
We are fundraising on behalf of Cure Crohn’s Colitis, which invests 100% of donations into research projects throughout the UK. They work tirelessly, and for free, because they have all been affected by IBD in some way; personally, professionally, or have watched someone they care about fight this debilitating, and so far INCURABLE disease.
We want to raise awareness of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and stamp out the stigma related to it, but we need you to help us to do this! Tag our Facebook page in your awareness posts on Facebook, or use hashtag #IBDSuperHeroes in your Twitter and Instagram posts.
