Ibn Haldun University

Ibn Haldun University aims to stand out as a "research university" in Turkey and the world with the quality of education it provides and the research projects it conducts. Ibn Haldun University (IHU) is a foundation university established by TÜRGEV. It was opened in 2015 and started education by accepting students in the 2017-2018 academic year. Ibn Haldun University Complex was built in Başakşehir, taking the Ottoman madrasa architecture as an example. 53% of its students are graduate (master's and doctoral) students. IHU has the following faculties: Faculty of Educational Sciences Faculty of Law Faculty of Communication Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty of Islamic Sciences Faculty of Management Sciences. Preparations are underway for the establishment of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts. The languages of instruction at IHU are Turkish, Arabic and English. Learning these languages is a graduation requirement. In addition, Western languages such as German, Spanish, Russian and French, as well as Eastern languages such as Chinese and Malay are taught as electives. 35% of IHU students are foreign students who are not Turkish citizens. Foreign students are given compulsory Turkish preparatory education at TÖMER. All of our undergraduate students and the majority of our graduate students are accepted with full scholarships. Dormitory opportunities are offered to the majority of our students, especially those coming from outside the province. Degree students are offered additional scholarships according to their achievements. English language education and academic education opportunities will be offered to our successful students according to their degree of success.
