ICAAS, the International Council of Amino Acids Science, explores all aspects of safety, quality and use of amino acids with particular emphasis on dietary use in humans. ICAAS aims at establishing a framework for assessing the consequences of both high and low amino acid intake in humans and developing globally-applicable quality specifications for amino acid products, in order to ensure consumer safety.
