About iCAST (Innovation Centre for Applied Sustainable Technologies)
iCAST is a new R&D and collaboration hub for companies working on clean growth technologies. Our unique knowledge exchange facility allows startups, SMEs and big corporates to partner with critical mass academic strength to enable scaleup and commercial delivery, generate economic impact, build supply chains, create jobs and drive green growth in the UK and overseas. Our expertise spans bio-based feedstocks, sustainable chemical production systems and sustainable engineering materials and plastics. iCAST is a partnership between Universities of Bath and Oxford, the High Value Manufacturing Catapult’s National Composites Centre (NCC) and Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), the Swindon & Wiltshire LEP, the West of England Combined Authority, the Western Gateway Powerhouse and SETsquared.
