The Ice Cream Guard is a new, patent-pending product for all ice cream enthusiasts. Have you ever opened a carton of ice cream that has been in your freezer for 7+ days only to find it covered in nasty freezer burn, ruining the texture and flavor of your dessert? The Ice Cream Guard is a form fitting cover, designed to keep freezer burn on top of the guard, and your ice cream fresh underneath. There are currently three sizes available: Oval, Pint, and 1/2 Gallon Round. I love ice cream (favorite flavor is Cookies N Cream) so I was really surprised when I found out that there wasn’t a solution to this annoying problem! I have worked diligently throughout college to save money towards starting my own business. Whenever the idea for Ice Cream Guard came to me as I entered my final semester of college, I knew it was time to get busy and launch this product. With the help of the University of Florida’s Business Incubator, I have had support and advice at every step of launching this product. We have an excellent legal team that has helped us receive a trademark for our name and patent protection for our product. We are in an excellent position to quickly scale Ice Cream Guard and we are excited about where the future for our business is heading. We hope to make new sizes of guards in the near future!
