IceStorage

IceStorage is a low-cost solar-powered cold room for smallholder farmers that does not rely on the grid and unsustainable batteries. We make more agricultural food - vegetables, fruits as well as animal food - reach the consumer. We cut food loss in countries, where food is already in short supply. At the same time IceStorage improves income of smallholder farms by allowing them to sell when demand is high. Nevertheless IceStorage is based on locally available, affordable low tech components and manufacturing is mostly done locally.
