Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (ICET) is one of the oldest institutes in the country that has served the region for over a century. It started offering a program as diploma in industrial chemistry in 1917 and then offered diploma in chemical technology. During industrial boom of 1960s in Pakistan, this institute has met the skilled manpower demand of almost every industry and provided professionals for industrial and economic growth. The alumni of the Institute have contributed significantly to the industrial growth and economic development of the country by helping in the design, construction, commissioning, operation and management of many important chemical plants, petroleum refineries and several allied industrial units. Currently ICET is offering following undergraduate (PEC accredated), Regular and Self-Supporting, and postgrdaute (HEC approved) programs:
