ICGA opened its doors in the 1970's with its initial location on the UT campus , Nueces Masjid. In the late 90's to address the growing needs of the Austin Muslim population, NAIT extended a waqf property at 5110 Manor Rd to the Islamic Center of Greater Austin.
Masjid Khadijah, one part of the ICGA puzzle, opened in the early 2000's. Masjid Khadijah and ICGA at large at an exciting moment in its development with the revamping and revitalization of its programs and structure.
